Pam Nail Care is aimed to be the leading nail care company in the region and beyond. The company started retailing its products in January 2015.

Pam Nail Polish was founded by Pamela Gatwiri who loved getting her nails done from an early age and this love grew when she became an airline stewardess. From March 2003 to July 2014, she was exposed to the importance of customer service, attention to detail and she was also exposed to a lot of luxury products and services as she travelled around different countries. Personal grooming was very key in the industry including nail care which had to well maintained and it is this exposure combined with passion for the nail care industry that lead her to think of starting her own nail polish line.

The idea of starting her own nail polish line came about when in mid 2013; she noticed a gap in the nail care industry in Kenya as compared to the luxury brands and services she had seen and set out to research the Kenyan market for over a year and realized the potential of the untapped business.

She set out to create a nail polish that was:

• Luxurious, quality, affordable yet trendy

• Fashionable colors and names

• Fast drying

• Free from any harmful ingredients (“ 5 Free” formulation)

• Vegan not made from any harmful ingredients

• Had a glossy look
